The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966
The Veterinary Surgeons Act was passed in 1966 to protect the welfare of animals and it is illegal for anyone other than the owner to treat an animal without permission from the animal's veterinary surgeon.
At Four Legs Therapy we feel it is very important that we do everything we can to ensure your horse/dog is feeling its best and is in the safest hands, because of this full written consent is required from your veterinary surgeon prior to treatment and I will work closely with your vet to ensure optimum care for your horse or dog.
Following the treatment a full report is provided to your veterinary surgeon.
If you would like to obtain written permission from your veterinary surgeon yourself, please find a copy of the form below. Completed forms can be returned to firstname.lastname@example.org.
